In spite of adding more North Indian flavor, the movie couldn't become a box-office hit. Well nobody does nostalgia like the Bengalis. It is interesting to note that on an average most Bengali reviewers critic/normal have rated it at least 1 more than avg. I have seen its ratings on all the major forums, they follow this weird trend. Maybe YRF ought to have made the movie in Bengali itself for regional audiences. Also, this is one of those rare Bollywood movies where the music is integral to the plot.
